Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LeaderSheep (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App and related services.
1. Information we collect
We may collect: account details (such as name, email, role, organization affiliation); content you submit in the App (messages, reports, profile fields); device and technical data (app version, diagnostic logs when you send them); and usage information needed to operate features (for example notification preferences). We may also collect photos and location data when you choose to attach them to fellowship reports.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide and secure the Service;
- authenticate users;
- deliver notifications and reminders you enable;
- generate internal reporting, statistics, and analytics for organizations you belong to;
- troubleshoot and improve the Service;
- respond to support requests and bug reports; and
- comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
3. Sharing
We may share information:
- with your organization’s authorized administrators and leaders as needed for ministry coordination;
- with service providers who process data on our behalf under contracts (for example cloud hosting, email delivery, push notifications), only as needed to run the Service;
- when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety; or
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be used for analytics and product improvement.
4. Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Service, and as required by law or legitimate business needs (including backups and security). Organizations may have their own retention practices for data they control.
Inactive free organizations may be archived after a period of inactivity. If an archived organization is not restored, we may permanently delete that organization’s data and related account information ninety (90) days after archive, except where we keep a limited record as required by law or legitimate business needs.
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No online service is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information. Contact your organization administrator or use in-app support to make requests. We may need to verify your identity.
7. International users
If you use the Service from outside the country where our systems are hosted, your information may be transferred and processed there, as permitted by law.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated version here and in the App and adjust the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
